Eq PLC acquires Genesta Property Nordic, a Fund management platform from Sweden

PwC Finland is proud to have acted as financial, tax and regulatory due diligence adviser to eQ Plc on its acquisition of Genesta Property Nordic AB, a Nordic real estate investment manager. Genesta was founded in 2002 and has offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Luxembourg. It provides investment, ownership and management services across the Nordic real estate sector. Genesta's platform manages approximately €870 million in assets across its core plus and value-add fund series.

The transaction brings together the fundraising capabilities of the two organisations and strengthens eQ's position as a leading Nordic real asset manager. Our cross-border team covered financial, tax and regulatory due diligence in Finland, Sweden and Luxembourg.
