PwC Finland advised OneMed Oy, part of Asker Healthcare Group, in its recent two acquisitions in the healthcare sector.
PwC Finland acted as financial, legal and tax advisor to OneMed Oy on the acquisition of shares in Iogen Oy in two tranches. Iogen Oy is one of the leading eye surgery products distributors in Finland. OneMed Oy purchased 51% of the shares in Iogen Oy in February 2021 and the rest of the shares in March 2023. In connection with the transaction also OneMed Oy's previous own eye surgery business was combined with the purchased business.
PwC Finland's legal and tax teams also advised OneMed Oy on the acquisition of all outstanding shares in Optiikka Juurinen Oy, a distributor of optical diagnostics, sight aids, optical products and services in Finland.
