The application period for this opportunity is from 19 January to 15 February 2026. The initial stage of the recruitment process involves participating in the Advisory Day, which will take place on 25 February 2026, starting at 14:00. During this session, you will have the chance to familiarise yourself with our services, meet our team members, and ask any questions in a relaxed environment. The day will also include a group case study. The official activities will conclude at 17:30, followed by an evening gathering at a restaurant where dinner will be served.
We will notify all candidates by February 20th at the latest, either with a rejection letter or an invitation to Advisory Day.

We are looking for young professionals with drive to join us for internships primarily fall 2026. As a PwC Deals Trainee, you will join one of the Deals subteams and work with various assignments as a full member of the team from day one.

Relevant earlier work experience, such as experience in M&A transaction advisory, private equity sector, management consultancy, business development, audit or working as a controller in a finance department is considered as an advantage but is not a prerequisite.
The duration and starting dates of traineeships will be agreed personally with each individual selected. Most trainee positions now available will take place in fall 2026.
We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Deals Trainees to join us for 3-4 months internships
At Transaction Services we help companies make acquisitions, divestitures and strategic alliances, and to access the global capital markets. In each case we have the same overriding objective: to ensure clients maximise the return on their deal.
Our team of ~40 dedicated FDD professionals is based in Helsinki and works with clients ranging from listed corporations to private equity companies and family-owned businesses. We are involved in most of the large M&A transactions that take place in the Finnish market.
Our main service offering consists of buy and sell side financial due diligence, but we also offer other types of services, such as IPO due diligence, working capital reviews, Vendor Assistance services and Independent Business Reviews for creditors. In FDD projects, we analyse financial information to gain an understanding of the target business and to provide our clients information on key issues impacting the contemplated deal. In most projects we analyse net debt, net working capital and recurring EBITDA to assist our clients in their valuation of the target company. Our work typically also includes analysis of the drivers behind sales and margin development as well as analyses on cash flows, forecasts and company-specific accounting topics.

Measured by deal volume, PwC is the leading Corporate Finance advisor in Finland, across Nordics and globally. In Finland, we are based in Helsinki and our team comprises over 35 dedicated professionals of which around 25 are based in Helsinki.
The Corporate Finance team acts as the lead financial adviser in M&A deals. We take the overall project responsibility for the transaction. We prepare process documentation and valuation, advice on tactics, manage communication with counterparties, support in transaction negotiations and decision making and co-ordinate the process and other advisers’ work. We also assist with evaluation of synergies, providing comments on due diligence reports commissioned, transaction financing and selecting the optimal purchase price. Our clientele ranges from corporations to private equities and family-owned businesses.

Valuation, Debt and Capital Advisory is the largest and leading independent Debt Advisor in Finland. The Finnish team consists of ~20 dedicated professionals in Helsinki.
Valuation, Debt & Capital Advisory provides extensive support in creating funding strategies both for companies and when establishing new investment products, such as funds, as well as support related to different types of debt and capital assignments. We conduct, among other things, various valuation assignments, debt structure analysis, financing strategies, and debt tendering arrangements. We employ financial models to enable analysis work and provide answers to critical questions we encounter during our engagements. Our clientele ranges from corporations to private equities and family-owned businesses.
As a Deals Trainee in Valuation, Debt & Capital Advisory team, you will typically get to:

We implement our clients M&A strategies, extending from defining strategies to plan execution. Our experienced team in Finland comprises of ~20 individuals with diverse educational backgrounds and knowledge.
Our work entails identifying the drivers of value creation and ensuring that it is captured in the pre-deal phase (strategy) as well as in the post-deal phase (implementation) of acquisitions or divestitures. Our client’s range across various industries and countries, necessitating international collaboration. We assist our clients in strategic, financial, and operational questions whilst leading them through complex deal processes and coordinating with multiple stakeholder groups. Our engagements range from carve-out design, synergy assessments, and due diligence to integration planning, integration/ separation program management and value capture. An internship within our team offers a unique role in mergers & acquisitions and strategy consulting, with the possibility to be involved throughout the life-span of a deal from strategic planning to actual implementation.
