Our DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) principles for recruitment

Our goal at PwC Finland is to continuously build a culture where everyone feels respected, appreciated, and included. All our employment decisions are made without regard to, for example, age, gender, nationality, state of health, disability, religion, worldview, sexual orientation or marital status.

We pay attention to using inclusive language and avoid gender-biased or exclusionary terms in job descriptions. We predefine our evaluation criteria, which are based on competence, qualifications and experience required to perform the tasks. Required language skills are determined in advance, and they are based on the specific needs of each position.  

Applying is easy: besides more traditional application method, you can apply for most positions by sending us a link to your LinkedIn profile and answering a few open questions on the application form.

Applicants are evaluated on the basis of predefined criteria, and we prepare interview questions to map out as well as possible the knowledge and skills required for the job of the applicants. To increase the objectivity of the selection, all applicants are interviewed by at least two people.

We require interviewers to attend training on unconscious bias, diversity awareness, and inclusive hiring practices. In accordance with our values, we challenge our thinking when making recruitment decisions, and we strive to minimise cognitive bias at every stage of recruitment.
